Catherine’s Market is one the great gathering places where you can choose one or more Lake Martin Hiking Trails for the day. Garnet Mine Loop can be accessed by heading out toward tunnel. Once you stroll through the tunnel be on the lookout for Windy Way Loop trail. Windy Way Loop trail will lead you to Garnet Mine Loop which will be about a two-mile hike. The hike will take you deep into the woods allowing you to cross many streams. Be sure to follow the yellow markers throughout Garnet Mine Trail. It is a delightful bird sanctuary as you will hear in the video below.
What a blessing to be able to walk right into the midst of ‘nature’s amp’ and listen to the beautiful songs. It is a chance for you to ‘step out of this fast-paced world’ and experience the talents of everything nature has to offer. It is right here you can experience peace in our overly busy world.
