Get ready for an unforgettable day as brave participants leap into the chilly waters of Lake Martin from Kowaliga Beach. Whether you’re a seasoned “Plunger” or a first-timer, this event is all about fun and making a difference.
Event Details:
- Entry Fee for Plungers: The entry fee of $15 includes access to food trucks, live music from Jonathan Bloom, and the satisfaction of supporting LMRAs mission to keep Lake Martin clean, safe, and prosperous.
- Docker Option: Prefer to stay dry? Join the fun as a Docker for just $20, enjoying all the perks without the plunge.
- Beverages: Kowaliga’s bars will be open to serve your favorite drinks.
Additional Activities
This event isn’t just about the plunge. Check out these exciting activities:
- Costume Contest: Dress to impress for a chance to win $100 in cash. Get creative and show off your best outfit on the beach!
- Dash for the Cash: After The Plunge, compete in this short race to a floating buoy and back. The winner takes home another $100 prize.
Changing tents will be available on-site to ensure Plungers can dry off and change into something warm. Don’t forget to bring water shoes—the beach can be a bit rocky!
