Description
Established in 1999 through a partnership between the city of Auburn and Auburn University, the Auburn University Club was founded to create an exceptional golf experience while honoring its strong connection to the prestigious academic institution. Charter members shared a passion for building a course that combined quality play with a sense of tradition and community.
Renowned former Auburn golfer Bill Bergin played a key role in bringing this vision to life, designing the club on a picturesque, rolling, wooded landscape covering 200 acres. At the heart of the course lies the scenic 25-acre Yarbrough Lake, with Saugahatchee Creek winding alongside several holes, adding natural beauty and challenge to the layout.
